Alright y'all, I have an unbelievable little story to tell. So my ex is probably one of the worst human beings on the face of the planet (reason I left him long ago), but we were together for about a year and during that entire time he tried so hard to be "engaged" by trying to force me to wear rings he bought (or stole, who really knows). He was extremely controlling and obsessive if you couldn't tell. anyways, one of the first things that I learned about him when we started dating was that he had been stabbed 23 times years ago because his ex wife had cheated and she sent her new boyfriend to kill him. He was extremely insecure and jealous, and I tried for forever to cater to that and just chalk it up to having all that trauma and that he just still needed time to get over it and trust me. Obviously I cut that shit off after so long of being treated the way that I was. About a month before I left him, his cousin was jokingly saying something about him still "technically" being married, and I was caught off guard and had no idea this was the case. Come to find out, after years have gone by, he has just recently gone back to this girl and they are married and either have a kid or are expecting. I'm in shock. How could someone even go back to someone that sent a man to end your life?! I knew he was an idiot but I'm just mind blown. Thank God I blocked him out of my life a long time ago and he is never allowed to be apart of my sweet baby's life. I would never say I regret being with him because it gave me Jaxtyn, but really I just have no idea how I was with such a terrible human being. I used to try to see the good in people and the potential to be good. Now It's like you either meet or exceed my high ass expectations or get lost, that's just the way I have to be.
