Ok mamas! I've had a migraine for 10 days now. They prescribed me Fioricet - when I take it it can dull the pain slightly but never makes it go away. It makes me drowsy so I can only really take it when I'm at home anyway. I don't have an appointment until the 6th. So my only option is to go in and be seen. I am 28W3D. Would you go in ??

@beebaby, I am normally not very good at that's but I have been! I have tried hot compress, cold compress, the doctor suggested caffeine. All of it! They suggest coming to be seen and of course I want to do what's best but OMG to go sit in L&D with headaches just the thought alone annoys me lol

@beebaby, yeah mine has been absolutely constant. Hasn't went away from the moment it came on 😭

@beebaby, yeah I have done all that for the past 10 days lol They were concerned about preeclampsia because I have had some vision issues with it but I really don't feel like that's it. I swear it's always something with me 😭

i had to go in monday for migraine over 2 days. They gave me a liter of fluids with IV Phenergan and Tylenol. I haven't had a headache nor migraine since @usafwife

@twinpeanut, yeah they will have to do something because it makes me nauseous and starts blurring my visions. I have dealt with it for 10 days now 😭

@twinpeanut, yeah being 28 weeks I have to go to L&D for anything. Which is why I guess I feel bad going in but I have to work again starting Tuesday, not to mention being a wife and mother! Right now I'm useless.

Have you seen a chiropractor? The relaxin in my first pregnancy cause my neck discs to shift and pinch stuff... after a few adjustments and a tip he gave me, I was relatively pain free... I was diagnosed within migraines at 3... so I know the pain of them... his tip was to relax as much as I could, breathing slowly/deeply, reduce the lights, soft relaxing music... then put a heating pad on my neck to the back of my head... and then add a large ice pack to my head... some days it was best over my eyes forehead and temples, other days across my head like a headband... I would play with the ice location... but the hot and cold together always kicked it for me! I hope you find some relief!
