I'm so depressed on this Christmas. like it doesn't feel like Christmas to me anymore. first year with out my dad here, and I got fired the day before I was going to go shopping and buy everyone's presents.. now I can't get my family anything because we are completely broke because my evil ex boss wanted to do this shit right before Christmas. I'm so glad this year is soon to be over cause I can't deal with too much more of 2016.

Christmas is love, the presents are material and can be purchased whenever, just enjoy your family and go to everyone house to eat!! Merry Christmas

@firemanswife my dad's side of the family switched up on us and told us they were going to NC for Christmas and didn't invite us. and we aren't cooking a dinner cause we don't have the money make food like that. probably just gonna make something small and try to be happy. like I feel like a POS because my sister bought us presents and a crib and a double stroller and carseats for our babies and we can't get her anything. I can't even provide the necessities for before my own babies are born :(

Sorry Hun! 2016 hasn't been good to me either I had a cousin killed and my brother died. It's been so hard for my family. I hope things get better for you!

This is my first Christmas without my Dad too... I know these pregnancy hormones don't help at all... but try to redeem your day... find the silver lining... you have a roof over your head, a loving family, and even though you are broke... God has still provided the things you need for your baby... we all go through rough seasons, they help make us who we are... things will get better, and some day you might be able to provide for someone else in your current situation just like your sister has done for you! Be thankful for what you have and where you are in your journey... you are carrying life's greatest gift inside you... and trust me, I've been where you are... it will get better, have a little faith and take courage! You have no ideas what opportunities might be just ahead of you! I hope you have a wonderful holiday and find peace with it all!
