So my biological father came back into my life when I turned 18... He sends flowers for my bday and sends random txt messages saying he hopes my day is going well but it still hurts that he totally abandoned me and raised his other daughter on his own and his family knows nothing about me still til this day smh. I have asked to meet his family when he's in town and he says he will be pressed for time because he's coming to town for homecoming smh. He asked to come see me today on his way to NC and I told him I don't feel like having company today. I'm tired of being squeezed into his busy schedule take the time to actually spend time with me and the family that I've created for once.

Smh idk what goes through their minds but they have to know we know the difference between them genuinely wanting to spend time with us and coming around here and there when the time is right for them, now we have children of our own the least they could do is build a bond with the grands but they won't even do that smh. I use to go out of my way to build a bond with that man and know my other side but idc anymore honestly he is the one missing out. @beebaby how does he react to you ignoring him?

Wow mine has 2 but he had no choice but to remain in his other daughters life because he was married to her mom and he dated my mom in high school. But That's crazy I would feel so guilty about leaving my kids behind like that you can't get any of that time back and earning the respect back will be very hard he should know better than leaving yall for several years and contacting yall for money and food smh I would be so pissed at him, but I try to remember eveything happens for a reason and his absence had it's role in making me the great woman I am today @beebaby

mine was half in my life but stood up for his wife (who bullied me) over his child, me. He talks shit about her then acts likes hes so enamored with her. my (half) brother Hates them both bc how they raised him. and now as an adult hes trying to come back into my life. having my wedding ceremony next year hes not invited i dont respect him
