I'd watch her, if she starts acting funny then take her in. make sure you give Tylenol at the appropriate times, maybe a wet coldish wash Cloth on head and behind neck to help bring fever down, and lots of water or fluids. fevers are good, it's the body fighting of whatever infection.

Alternate between Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours and give pedialite. The hospital will probably tell you the same thing, just keep an eye on her. If she starts acting lethargic and her fever doesn't go down even with medicine then I'd definitely take her.

Continue to monitor. Once 102 and above despite Tylenol or Motrin admin take to ED. Cooling measures are appropriate also. @angelmama12, she does not need pedialyte. She's not vomiting. That's appropriate for if child is vomiting and or diarrhea to replenish electrolytes. Hope she feels better. Merry Christmas to you and the girls and your bf @amaperalta03,

I would alternate Tylenol and Motrin for a bit and see how it goes. That's what I do for my son, the only way his fever will go away. I do every 3 hours.

take off her clothes and put a semi cool towel around her to lower the body temperature, along with Tylenol. This was done to my daughter when she was 2, also, @ her Dr's office. Hope she gets better!

@nurseriri, vomiting is not the only reason to drink pedialite. Any time my kids have had a fever like that their doctor always recommends staying hydrated with pedialite because the fever itself can cause dehydration.

If she's dehydrated, dry mouth, decrease urine output etc etc. just from my nursing point of view and I worked pediatrics. @angelmama12, your dr is absolutely right in that sense. But she said her daughter has a fever. Happy holidays
