After going in the past couple days to feed Jace and seeing him for just an hour, I'm glad he failed that test. He is in no way ready to come home. He still dsats very frequently and he can drop really low. It's super scary. He is where he needs to be even though we want him home. It sucks he is spending his first Christmas in the nicu but he can't come home. He may be in here as long as his big brother was but that's okay. I want him home and healthy.

@ssdj4, prayers for your Jace! My little guy is in NICU as well, and the nurse let us hold him for the first time Christmas night. It sucks seeing them like that, but they are in a good place.

yes they are. why is your little guy in there? I'm always here if you need to talk. it does cause depression having a baby in the nicu. prayers for your little man too @purpledpink

@ssdj4, he has heart defects that were found in utero. He actually is having his first surgery today, then we have to wait 2 months, then he will have open chest surgery. We were hoping he could come home between the 2 surgeries, but his heart has compressed his right lung and it is partially collapsed, so they said it's less likely he will come home before his full repair :( I hope baby Jace is doing better, I know this is round 2 of NICU for you!

Oh man I'm sorry that you have to go through all that. that has to be hard. Delos had a hole in his heart in utero but it closed up shortly before he was born. well I'm praying for you guys. @purpledpink
