This vacation went anything but how we planned with 8 days of fever, 3 trips to medical centers, sleepless nights, stressful days and lots of frustration. 2 nights ago as we were driving, both girls had finally passed out and we were listening to a message by @drdavidjeremiah on parenting. His main point was "God is able." We stopped the van, bowed our heads and together prayed for healing, patience, rest and answers, recognizing that God is able to do all those things and more. Sometimes we don't see those answers right away, we didn't. Her fever continued through the night and we still didn't get sleep. But we both felt at peace knowing that He can do a better job taking care of our daughter than we can. Today we got some answers (ear infection) and we're thankful for answered prayer. He is able, I promise.
