Just got a baby carrier! She got in it and fell asleep right away! Any safety tips or anything from…

#1. You need to be able to kiss the top of baby's head when they are in the carrier to know that they are strapped properly.

#2. There shouldn't be anything obstructing baby's ability to turn their head and breath.

Other than that, enjoy babywearing! My little chunk is already 20 lbs and I hadn't worn him in a while bc he's too much in a front carry. Tried his first back carry yesterday and we both loved it!

We live in northern Minnesota and I wear Finn in his snowsuit still. However, he is 5 months and knows to turn his head to breathe if something is in his way. Most babies accomplish this skill by 4 months 😃 @liz41395,
