I used lavender oil, salt and sometimes dettol in my bath... not altogether of course... also cleaned mysekf everytime i went toilet and made sure was thoroughly dry.... and sat on a rubber ring sometimes! lol... i was so swollen down there after my 3rd baby.. could use a bit of arnica cream for swelling/bruising.... not internally just around on the outside... really helps also. I think the aftermath is worse than the actual birth itself... xx

omg the pain is worse than the birth with stitches i had to dilute my wee with a jug of water it doesnt take all pain away but did indeed help a little , sit on some peas after u have a wee that may help soothe pain/swelling xx

oh I have just managed to go but feel really odd now haha so hopefully now I'll be slowly getting back to normal. is there anyway of making the stitches heal quicker and what to clean them with salt water maybe?. I can't wait for the pain to go it's awful thank you xx

Lavender oil or tea tree oil on your pads. And Andrew Washlets worked wonders for me xx

Some women have said try pouring a jug of water as you wee. I never tried it myself lol. It will be uncomfortable & possibly painful for a while as you heal but try to relax & hopefully after a few days/ a week it shouldn't be as bad.
