I get the most crap for naming my daughter Dakota. Like almost everyone makes fun of her name (except my family cause they actually like it) but so many people ask "why Dakota" or I hear "that's a boy name" or some BS like that 😤 it just pisses me off cause I love it. Dakota Grace was her name before we even knew for sure that she was a girl. It just stuck with us and we couldn't imagine calling her anything else so idk why people think it's necessary to make crappy comments about it. Sorry I just needed to rant lol

My kids all have kind of different names and I could care less what people think. Your baby you named her what you wished. I think it's a beautiful name btw.

I love the name Dakota. And I had two female Dakota's at my high school. It's a unisex name. Just like Sam. Just like Charlie. They're just gonna have to get used to it. People (including own family) give me a hard time for wanting to name my daughter Raquella Ameerah but when I found out her gender that name clicked and stuck ever since. And it's not changing for nobody. You do you girl.

Not their child, not their decision for the name. I made up my first son's name... people get used to it. They can get over themselves.

don't worry.. I'm naming my daughter a boy name because girls with boy names are very pretty with a balanced personality (that I've met).. and I got one person to say something but everyone else knows to shut that shxt up@caseyann19

Girl tell me about it .. I'm naming my baby girl Maygi pronounce Maggie ... one off my family member says that it's a horrible name I got so mad I'm like no if your looking at the mirrow while pronouncing it that's why it's horrible lol my aunt gets mad .... it's my daughter I name her how ever I want .....

I got flack for wanting to name my Daughter, Kaidence. But guess what? She's mine! And Dakota Grace is a beautiful name. Tell them to name their kid whatever they want, but this lil one belongs to you!

I think it's beautiful. I hate when people ask my daughter's name. You can see on their face they don't "approve" and I'm like shut up.
