2 part question, completely different...

I can answer one question. that's all my daughter would sleep in for the first I wanna say 5.5-6months

@jgruenwald, it makes me nervous because I read something that said it's bad when they're small to do that since they are propped upward and they can't support their heads yet that if they move their head downward it can cause then to cut off their airway and suffocate

@xalyssasays if you have read bad things about it, or if it makes you nervous even a little, trust your gut instinct as a mother and don't do it.

then don't do it I did it because she literally would not sleep in anything else seriously she wouldn't. I tried a crib pak n play rocker nothing would work. I didn't want her to sleep in the swing but I couldn't get her to sleep in anything I was so tired i just wanted to sleep. I co slept for a little while but as she got older and was crawling and rolling I was worried about her being on the bed so her swing was my best bet

See I'm too scared to co sleep because it's my fiancé and I in the bed along with our dog. And we already feel like we need a bigger bed. Plus we're scared of rolling over on her or something. She will sleep in her bassinet it's just that in the middle of the night she only goes 2-2 1/2 hours between feedings. Rarely 3 hours. And she likes to be awake after feedings she won't just go straight to sleep.

My son was addicted to his swing! Yes it's okay! As long as they are close by and buckled! I used to keep his swing right near our bed!

I had multiple stitches, I tore bad, and that took me a few weeks. I went in around 2 weeks later thinking they were infected but my doctor said it was healing just fine! They just hurt so bad! By my 6 week checkup they were all healed!
