Oh ok never mind what my sister in law would do is put some of the formula on the food she would give her daughter and mix it and that was the o my way she would it eat

Maybe try giving him some of your food? I give my son rice, mashed potatoes, anything easy for him to mush. He eats any purees but prefers my food

I know this a few days old but if baby has no interest in it then he isn't ready. He is still young, the WHO recommends exclusively breastfeeding or formula till 6 months then introducing solids. Also consider looking up baby led weaning, it eliminates mush and teaches baby to eat and chew on their own. I did this with my youngest and it was so much easier and he ate avocado for the first time and he demolished it :)
