Formula moms!! Does anyone know what I can do for a collicy baby (I'm sure I spelled that wrong…

I also have a colicky baby. We're on Gentlease but we just started it on Friday. I'm also switching from MAM to Dr. Browns bottles to see if that helps. We've also been using Mylicon and Gripe Water. He's been doing better but the colic itself will have to work itself out. Tonight was a frustrating night. He cried for 1.5 hours straight. Thought it's better than past nights. Friday night he cried for 3 hours.

Did your doctor switch you guys ? I also have mylicon I haven't used it since the first time. I am using playtex that is supposed to help with that. She's barely started like this about a week ago she's going on 2 months now. She cries from 12pm to 3am every night faithfully. I have some gentle ease but I'm scared to mix the formula without doctor consent. @levismom,

Yes a doc in the office switched us. It wasn't our Ped but another in his office. I would ask about it. She actually diagnosed my son with colic and then switched him. Have you talked to your Ped about her symptoms?

Oh, also do you experience fussing or crying when you're feeding her?? My son will feed okay at times and then other times he will cry every other sip. I just don't get it. Im hoping the bottle switch will fix that.

@gigi.marquez1991, I would definitely call and tell them you're having feeding issues and describe them. When I said that and gave them the symptoms they told me they wanted to see me ASAP and got me in within hours. Like, I called and noon and they got me in at 3. They thought it was AR at first. Maybe that's why they wanted to see me. Then they diagnosed him with colic.

He didn't take the formula at all ? See she takes it just not when she's in pain

@gigi.marquez1991, no he takes it. He just cries through it. It was the same with Enfamil Reguline too. He'll eat it. He's hungry. But for some reason he cries through it. So far the Dr. Browns bottles seem to have helped that though.

Dr.Browns bottles and gripe water was a life saver with my son. At first I was using the playtex drop ins and they were making him so gassy and fussy. I only used the gripe water if he was bad but just switching bottles made all the difference.

I went to the doctors and they changed her Also recommended gripe water. Got it at target lol was a little more expensive then I thought but so worth it! We will see how tonight goes! Glad your baby is doing better! 😀😀 @levismom,

Yes I switched her bottles early on to playtex @krys7a, thank you @raquely, I got gripe water today hoping for a better night 😀
