I am so over being a server in the south!π I make $3.50 an hour so I DEPEND on my tips, especially with a baby on the way. Today I had someone stiff me on $80 and another on $50. After they had asked me to special order items on the menu (which makes the chefs irritated with me), turn on the heater, lower the music volume, special order drinks (which pisses off the bartenders) and run my ass off for the smallest of things. Had a lady be extremely rude because she didn't like the drinks the BAR made for her even after I offered to take them off of her bill.
Please people, for the love of God, don't go out to eat if you aren't going to tip your servers or you're just going to be a dick. Let them take the time they would use running their asses off for you, on more appreciative customers.

I've never had such horrible service that I didn't tip. I'm always super nice and quick with my tables I just get discouraged when I get stiffed for no reason.

totally understand used to be a server now when I go out to eat I know they rely on their tips some people don't know and don't care
