That's weird why wouldn't they be happy?

The 13 year old is ok I guess but the 19 year old says it's not fair this baby gets to live with daddy full time. Keep in mind she is in college. She hasn't talked to me or even looked at me since we told them.

That sounds like the 19 y.o. is kind of selfish. Who at 19 really cares or isn't happy about it. Maybe she's jealous because she doesn't get to be the baby anymore and has to share her dad. Lifes not fair anf people have to grow up. She'll understand someday. I don't get what part about it isn't fair to her. As for the 13 y.o boy I can understand that. He probably doesn't really care but is maybe aprehensive about a baby at his age living at home. I was 11 when my brother and sister were born. I was super excited but got jealous at times too.

@jacesterlingsmommy, thank you. I was thinking the same thing about the 19 year old but I guess I wanted some confirmation from someone else. The 13 year old I could have understood. But he is actually okay with it. I know jealousy is going to happen and I can deal with that but the 19 year old??

My son's are 21 yrs old and 13 yrs old.I am 37 yrs old &was nervous about telling them as well(we are all very close)I was completely surprised how they handled it Very well.. i raised good sons..This pregnancy was planned. so i. personally wasn't surprised.. Sorry you had to experience their negative reactions.

Sounds like they aren't happy about dad having a baby with u or they don't want a baby period because they want to be the only ones dad has. My kids are 15 and 12 and are super excited. I was nervous at first but they accepted it from the start. Hopefully they'll come around as they get used to the idea. Make sure u make them feel important through the whole process. I'm doing the same with my older kids. Be happy mama! Babies are so precious! Don't let their selfishness ruin this for u. 😊
