If you are expecting a boy have you thought about circumsizing baby? If so what are your thoughts.…

We did. Actually I let my husband make that call. He has a penis so I figured it should be his call. We had zero issues with our Circ. It healed perfectly with no problems whatsoever. I know there's a lot of anti-circ people out there now. My OB said people do it for largely cosmetic reasons but that it does help it stay clean easier. I normally stay off this topic because people get real into their feelings over it. Just thought I'd put in my two cents.

I did not circumcise my first son because I was a young (single) mom at the time and I let my mom influence my decision not knowing any better and he has had issues because I didn't do it. I definitely don't judge anyone's decision either way though, to each their own. Because of my experience, my other two have been circumcised and they didn't cry at all during the procedure, and they healed very quickly without any problems. My doctor told me the same thing as @levismom, most people do it for cosmetic reasons nowadays but it does help with hygiene.

i didn't circumsize my son. my husband and i both agreed not to do it. if all baby boys are born with it, obviously not a defect that needs to be cut off. it's been given because of certain religions and then people following. if you clean your son properly... there should be nothing to worry about whatsoever. but like everyone says to each their own. it's all up to you and your SO

I will definitely circumcise my male child period but it's up to you at the end of the day. @momma2017

I'm having twins a boy and a girl.. I'm not going to .. boys need to practice good hygiene either way. the father of my child has no problem with his. BTW I think cutting it makes growth down there a struggle if you ask me lol

After talking about it, my husband and I are choosing to having our son circumcised. Girl I've researched and researched and researched. There are pros and cons to both. Hygiene & everything will be fine either way you choose, just make your decision without people influencing you and you SO. Make the decision you guys want to make for the reasons you want to make it. @momma2017

I didn't because it's not my body to decide what part gets cut off. Plus I believe my baby boy was born perfect 👌🏼

my husband and i discussed if we have a boy he will be circumcised. the hygiene for uncircumcised is rough and they are prone to yeast infections (my ex is uncircumcised and he cleaned it all the time but still had smegma, it was gross. He used to give my utis all the time)

I'm having twins if we have a boy or both boys we already decided to get them circumcised. we both think it's better for the kids in the long run. both for hygiene and cosmetic reasons. we dont want them to have to get it done later in life and be in that pain like my husband did because his parents waited until he was older so id rather it get done right after birth so they dont remember any pain at all. but do what you feel is right for your son.

my husband was circumsized at 12 years old and he is forced to remember bc he was older rather than a baby. he said if he could choose he would rather have been circumcised at birth

I really do appreciate all of the comments and suggestions and what everyone else did and why. I have a lot to think about which is a good thing. I just want to do right by Itty bitty.. Thanks again everyone this does help a lot.
