Implantation bleeding happens when the fertilized egg attaches to the wall of the uterus. Normally spotting is either light brown or pink in color. Heavier spotting may be red. Mine was bright red with clots in it I thought I was having a miscarriage but I wasn't an the doctor said everything was fine!

Mild cramping was mine but everyone is different and some don't even have implantation bleeding. @proudmommyof2405,

10-14 dpo. I had mine after I got a positive test!

I don't remember what dpo I was but it was after I got a positive that's why I thought I was having a miscarriage..
