Is anyone claiming employment and support allowance (ESA)? I was getting income support but they said it will be cut in 2 weeks time for some reason and that I'd have to apply for ESA but when I phoned up they said they won't put my claim through until my income support runs out and I have to phone in 2 weeks time. This leaves me with no income apart from tax credits for 3 weeks over Christmas. Does this sound right?

@littleelf85, they wouldn't give me a reason they just said I'm only allowed to claim it until my sons 15 weeks old. I get about £70 a week and that's with my partner on the claim but he only works 8 hours as he's still a student. I have no idea why I'm being cut off to be honest...

@littleelf85, I will do I'm just annoyed as they've messed me around a few times this year 🙄 but hopefully it'll get sorted xx
