ladies did u bring ur purse with u to the hospital or should I just bring a bag with the important…

I never bring my purse. Informally just put it in my hospital bad. U definitely don't want to bring too many bags

like should I put the paper work in the the laptop bag I have a folder for it and should I keep my id and insurance card in there too with a little zip bag

I actually think it's a great idea to plan in advance... I had my daughter early, went to a doctors appointment and was told that I was being sent to the hospital, and was not coming home without a baby... I was only 33 weeks figured I had at least a month before I needed to worry about it... so I had nothing except my drivers license... my husband had to run home after I was all situated to round up items... one thing I never thought about was a sleep mask... it was essential for me!

I brought my wallet since they will ask for your ID and insurance card

I went into L&D and told them I was having contractions since 7 AM and they checked me and monitored me and they said I was only a 1 and sent me home and two hours later I went back and said they were worse and they checked again and told me I was now a 4 and told me I was being admitted to have my baby that night..

I brought my purse lol i had my most important stuff in it, and money and whatever else I needed without digging through my duffle bag

@katlovesj, typically your doctor/midlife will have your paperwork already done and sent to the hospital of choice... many hospitals will actually have you fill out paperwork in advance... so when I went in I just gave them my name and they were already preparing a room for me by the time I got there... because the doctor had called them to let them know I was coming
