Each mom parents and raised their child a different way than anyone else. But god forbid someone doesn't like the way you raise Your Baby and throw a fit. Just like a post I just saw on FB. A close family member shared a post that says not to do the cry it out method. she said anyone who lets their child do the cry it out method shouldn't be a parent. I am a parent that believes in that method to a certain extent. I would let my son and still do, cry for max of 15 minutes if that. Not saying every time he cries that I do this. My son first born cried to soothe himself. No joke. He didn't want held or food or changed or clothes or unclothed. He did it to help him sleep. I sat and cried myself to sleep a few times because I would get frustrated of the cry until I learned he didn't want or need anything. Sometimes all he wanted was to fuss. He didn't even want to be held. So you can tell me I shouldn't be a parent for using this method, but best believe my child is a very smart and outgoing baby that doesn't feel like I have abandoned him. So don't tell me I don't deserve to be his mommy, because best believe that I him better than anyone else ever will. He don't cry anymore really except teething. Because he knew he did it to soothe and once he got settled in his room then he found out that he was where he wanted to be to sleep.
