Going through it right now, have u bought her any teething toys? My daughter loves her elephant Kiki that I bought at target and she loves to chew on the crinkle books. Also I've frozen wet wash cloths and let her chew on those while I hold her.

Chamomile tea helped my little one a little. As far as not allowing me to put him down, I multitasked and also gave him frozen items to bite on when I needed to sit him down.
