Mom's with belly button rings did you use a maternity ring, take it out or use something else? When…

I'm big now so I wear a nipple ring in there sometimes because the belly ring is short and it kind of pulls & the straight bar just feels better but your best bet is to switch the ring around 20 weeks or whenever you start to get big & it becomes uncomfortable , I've seen some people never change it tho

I just took mine out but since I'm really small & haven't gotten much bigger I use the regular plastic ring

I took mine out at 20 weeks. I'm 38 weeks now and not big at all but there's no way I'd have a belly ring now (even the flexible ones) because it would show thru my shirts. my hole is still there tho and will just put in my old ring one I give birth.

I've heard of women taking it out and putting it right back in after with nor problems and some women it closes up. I've also heard some women didn't even need to take it out at all but I don't think I am going to be one of those lol ur right I didn't think about the maternity ones showing thru my shirt and such and when ur button pops out I'm sure that would be painful. i took my prego ring out at like 20 weeks cause it was really bothering me. I think my hole closed. ill get it repierced eventually.

@beanieboo Thank you hunny. it didn't hurt to get pierced so I'm not worried about getting it redone

I took mine out at 22 weeks and I just poke it through every week just to make sure it is still open. No signs of closing at all and I'm 30 weeks
