Exactly! My mom conceived 2x while breastfeeding. My sister conceived while breastfeeding. Etc.

I've never had a doctor say that to me (nor has anyone in my family heard that). I think most doctors know it's not effective birth control, there's a reason they make special pills/methods for nursing moms lol.

I'm a breastfeeding mom. As a matter of fact my whole family breast feeds. None of them believe it will protect you from pregnancy. Yes some women get delayed periods but all you need is to ovulate to get pregnant. You ovulate before you get a period so you can get pregnant without knowing.

I've never been told that either and I breastfeed. I'm on the mini pill for birth control. It's for breastfeeding moms.
