Every woman is different some get period right away some don't. To be safe I'd stop in January so that way if it does take awhile then you will still have time to have a few cycles before trying as recommended. Just use condoms and track your cycle if you wish to avoid pregnancy during that time

I've been off nexplanon for a year now and my cycles have only just started regulating in the last 3 months

Okay. I was just asking my daughter is about 6 1/2 months and I haven't had a period yet but then again I am breastfeeding. I was just curious if starting on birth control pills would help my body start having a cycle or if we should just wing it and hope my body starts ovulating again
