A couple things to consider: I was an OB/GYN for well over 13 years before I left medicine and never felt the good outweighed the bad when it came to Fiorcet. Your doctor must be very liberal to write a script for it while you're pregnant and have a history of miscarriage. There is a TON of caffeine in Fiorcet. That being said, the FDA really hasn't required studies in the med in humans or animals and as a migraine sufferer myself, if the doctor gave it to you, please don't use over one a day and use your better judgment. I know it sucks only being able to take Tylenol because it's like candy to a migraine, but like I said your baby, your body, its up to what you think. sorry if I said anything to scare you, I'm only being honest by arming you with my medical knowledge.

im a nurse, i look for information constantly because id much rather suffer than risk anything to my baby. i stopped all of everything prior to ivf including the excedrin i used to basically drink. the only thing outside of the fertility meds i take is tylenol nothing else.
i really appreciate the the advice. my neurologist wrote for fiorcet but i decided not to pick it up hoping i can try anything else for it like increased water intake @snarfyk

@twinpeanut Tylenol, really, really cold water or liquid, cold showers and, well I hate myself for saying this, but try to stay away from cheese and chocolate. Cheese and chocolate seem to make migraines worse. Unfortunately, all things you already know. As long as you don't have blurred vision or extreme nausea, a migraine during your first trimester is more of a pain than anything else. A side note, I give it up to you, nurses run hospitals and know 10 times more than doctors ☺☺☺.

lol. i care alot for people, but most in the world for my baby. No human being is before my baby. Im trying to stay away from cheese, luckily it's not one of my triggers (cigarette smoke, alcohol/wine) which are easier to stay away from. I've been craving cheese for a week, colby and gouda. None of the headaches are anything like my migraines which startef taking on a droopy CVA face with blurred vision. Its pretty scary.
Lol thanks, I did cardiac and ICU for 8 years. I LOVE the people, the action, the codes. Thank you @snarfyk I know some great docs

When i start into my actual OB appointments I will make sure they have the ability to communicate with my neuro for any information and treatment. I adore him but he doesn't know fetal maternal medicine
