so today was finally doctor day for me.... even though the doctor said everything seems to be fine... we did not get to listen to the heartbeat nor did we have a ultrasound... we go back in 4 more weeks... Hopefully we will then get to hear a heartbeat... we will still not have a ultrasound until around 18 weeks....

My doctors office doesn't start checking for heart beat by Doppler until 10 weeks

I got an ultrasound at my 10 week appointment. I didn't hear the heartbeat until my 16 week appointment. (I heard it earlier than that though because a friend gave me her doppler). I'm sorry you have to wait so long!

yeah I am only 9 weeks 5 days plus she said my uterus is tilted back so even if they tried to hear the heartbeat today we would have most likely not heard it

they have a hand held ultrasound thing they did for me because my insurance wouldn't pay for an ultrasound till 20 weeks ask them about that
