I thought they only did this for people having twins I'm gonna look into this

They do it for anyone having a baby or had one x

But you can only get it the once! So if you decide to have another baby you don't get the grant again x

You get the exact same text whether you get accepted or rejected xx

I tried twice and I got rejected for the maternity grant, because I don't have no tax credits or I'm on benefits, tried claiming tax credits and they said I'm entitled to £0, so don't know 🤔🤔x

oh really? I thought you couldn't. I didn't apply when I was pregnant with my daughter cos I worked full time. but Iv hardly worked for the past year and don't get much wage, so was thinking of applying for it this time. do I just fill the form out online? @charliefreddiesmumma861 xx

Try it, but you will either be rejected or accepted xx

Just ring them and ask I did I received mine a few weeks back
