Has any of you all had or have the IUD? If so which one and how was or is it for you?

I have paraguard and I love it.

@zayviers_mommie yea I heard of that one. Do you think you will like it more the longer you have it?

@sweetness_mom_of2 it last for 10 years. and it's hormone free. I don't have the side affects of hormone contraceptive. it does cause light cramping for a few days at first but nothing unbearable. I had my 1st period on it and it only lasted for 3 days instead of 7. which is odd since they say this one can make them longer or heavier. it had the opposite affect on me.

@sweetness_mom_of2 only thing I don't like is I get paranoid that it'll move and I not know it.

I've had paragard and mirena and they both sucked. And they both implanted...one got yanked out in docs office and the other needed surgery. worst experiences...
