Is it really stupid of me to be getting my son toys that he won't be able to play with till he's 6m+…

Christmas presents aren't just to play with at Christmas it's stuff he can grow into and play for the whole year

Girl I got my daughter a rocking chair when she wasn't even born yet. Buy things he will grow into for Christmas that way he has things to play with when he's old enough. Christmas isn't all about what he can play with now expecially when you have a child that is so young. I got things my daughter will grow into and she's 8 months.

@mazeyy09, glad someone thinks like me lol I mean I'm thankful that they got him a recliner but don't come attacking me about how I'm buying things he can't use now when their doing the same thing. It's not like I went all out and got him stuff that he needs to be 4yrs old to play with. I just got him a couch and some little trucks and tractors, little kid movies, and one of those rugs that you can drive your car around on. I didn't but really expensive things. I had coupons I had to use up before they expired so I just thought it would be a good idea to get some older toys he can play with

It's smart thinking like why would you buy him clothes that he can only fit now. You gotta get kids stuff they can grow into it else you'll be buying stuff every month

@babynessa, I'm thankful that they got him a recliner but they shouldnt be coming and attacking me about buying him things he can't use now when their doing the same thing. They just keep saying if you buy all this stuff now what are you gonna get him for his birthday. Clearly they don't understand that they make hundreds of new toys yearly lol

Lol I don't think any parent could possibly buy all the toys they make in the world for their child. You will have plenty of toys to buy for his birthday. @jaxxmommie22

@mazeyy09, right lol then I'd really be broke haha they asked about clothes and I told them if your gonna get him clothes please get him 9months and up bc he has a bunch of clothes up until then. And that they need to be thinking about what season it might be when he can fit into them.
