the regular helps my baby but I only put it on his feet with socks. the baby one is safer because it doesn't have menthol. it shouldn't cause suffocation.

oh ok. was that regular vicks or baby vicks? I read regular can make baby worse but the baby stuff you only rub a tiny bit on their chest. none near their nose. it's not as strong and made specifically for babies over 3 months old

Be careful with the Vicks! I read an article about a mom who's baby passed away because Vicks has the opposite effect on babies and can make their mucus worse and they can end up suffocating on it. I don't know how accurate the story was, but definitely check it out!

Is your doctor aware that there is a Zarbees baby cough syrup that is dosed down to 2 months of age? My baby's doctor did not know this until I told her that's what I had been using. She did not tell me to stop using it.
