Hello!
I received letter from GP that on 8 weeks check my baby will get new MenB Vaccine. Meningitis it's kinda scary thing, and with all other vaccinations....
Did you had them? And isn't it too much vaccinations for 2month baby?( MenB, 5in1, PCV,Rotavirus....) 😱😱😱
They advice you on what you should expect and what you should do, after a couple of them they tell you to give a course of Calpol. Don't worry you and Babba will be fine 😊
My little one had them to, it's upsetting because they get upset but it's over soso quickly! It's 3 separate injections 2 on one left and 1 on the other and a oral liquid. You get the injections every month till their 4 months then when they're 1 year. They have to give them in small dosages
Yeh Max had all of his jabs at 8weeks, 12weeks & 16weeks & will be having the rest as he needs them. He was unwell for a day but then was fine. Morgan missed the new MenB jab due to the cut off age, so I paid privately for him to get it. Not chancing my children catching a deadly diseases when it could be prevented.
Best thing for them that they introduced this due to the deaths that occurred without
It's better to be unwell for a few days than catch the disease in my opinion. My son had his a few weeks ago, it was 3 injections and medicine in the mouth. he had a high temp and was unwell for a few days but I'm glad he had them. He's just after his 2nd round of jabs which is only one injection and stuff in the mouth. He was a lot better this time, a bit unsettled but no temp. xx
