My baby was croup cough π
He had a fever of 103 this morning. It just happened so suddenly. I asked my SO and MIL if he felt warm to them and they both said no. That I was just overreacting. My SO checked his temperature in his armpit and it was 97. But I wasn't convinced. Something told me that something wasn't right. So I checked it rectally and it was 102!Follow your gut feelings moms!

@tiffany_sanft, really? I didn't know that. I guess I just took it as normal because adults body temps are usually 97 degrees. I'll have to look it up! And thank you! π
I believe 97 under the arm is a slight fever, too. There's comparison charts online for the different areas of the body. But, good job for catching that! I hope you're lo feels better soon. β€οΈ
I thought the same thing, but my daughter's pediatrician gave us a chart. It's pretty interesting. And of course! β€οΈ
