You can have contractions and not know. When I went to L&D at 37 weeks I was having irregular contractions and I had no clue. But when I went into labor they started off as just like crampy type pain then got into really painful contractions.

I've had labor stopped 3 times already so maybe that's why I'm dilating but I never felt anything. The contractions I've felt were like I needed to use the bathroom😣@missjess

I always though contractions is what made you dilate. They told me I was fighting them and prolonging the process. That's when I got the epidural 17 hours into labor.

She said it can feel like an ache or burning. But yea I felt not a thing! @t1mom we're lucky I guess haha

That's what I figured. I was told I'm 1/2 inch dilated:/ and she asked if I felt a burning and I looked st her with a dumb look because I haven't felt anything🤔@t1mom
