I have been ridiculously lightheaded and dizzy. It is an all day occurrence too. (I am 18+1 weeks pregnant) I eat every few hours. I drink enough water, and even drink Gatorade from time to time. It makes it hard for me to pay attention to my 10 month old son who needs constant attention. this has been going on for the past week, and I am just wondering if any other moms have had this problem?

I had this for a while during a few weeks early pregnancy, but never figured out what caused it..it eventually went away though. Definitely worth calling your doctor about if it's getting that bad!

I had it around my 30 weeks ish and I drank water constantly, I ate regularly, I rested and it wasn't like a head rush when I stood up I could be sitting down and I'd feel dizzy, and I felt like my heart was racing, I called the doctor and they didn't want an explanation, it eventually stopped after a couple of days but if you're worried and its bad I'd call the doctor

I had it happen just sit down relax for a little bit could be low blood sugar or high blood pressure

This has been happening to me since 20 weeks. My doctor told me its a drop in blood pressure. She said it usually happens when you stand or sit too quickly, after a shower or bath, or when moving too fast during a task. She told me to slow down and take my time. I know that can be hard with a younger child and being pregnant but it's the only way to avoid these episodes as I call them. I usually remove myself from the situation and take a few deep breathes, drink water, and relax. It has to do with all the extra blood running through your veins at such a fast pace that's what causes the sudden drop in pressure.
