My boyfriend of four years and I were talking about having more kids. I don't want my son to be a only child, but my pregnancy was hell. He wants another baby in our 30s and I don't want to have any kids in my 30s not saying it's old, but I want kids before that. I asked him about as adoption, but he refuses to even thing about it, so many kids need loving parents to take care of them so why not let them in your heart. He says he wants his blood. I don't think I can go through pregnancy again. I love my son with every fiber in my body and I don't regret him, but I can't. Am I selfish for this ?

Ya it's a foster adoptive class. And they have classes of what to expect. What you need to have and how your house should be

We are just starting our process. A lot of classes. My whole family has fostered. And we enjoyed it. I looked up our local foster company and on there it had an application and I filled it out. They have an informative session then three classes and then home studies and then when you pass them all you get on a list of fosters and my cousin just finished her classes a week ago and she already has a foster kid. Around here in Iowa they are much needed. But I never heard of a foster parent waiting to long to foster. Adoptive is different story. Sometimes it can be as fast as 6 months after all the paper work and sometimes up to a few years depending where you go. When you foster you can put restrictions like if you don't wants a certain age. If you don't want them to have problems like a disability or anger problems they will out that in the notes and when they call you can ask all the questions you want and if it doesn't seem like a good fit say no

No!!! A lot of people don't have a great pregnancy and don't want to do it again. I had an easy pregnancy but hated it 🙄 and we are trying and also going through the process of fostering and in hopes to adopt later in life. :) my husband wanted three of his own but finally showed him what it's like and he thought our hearts are big enough let's do it!
