@emileemoreland, That's was I was thinking cuz sometimes I may have to lift and some of the individuals can get push and the only guy explodes and hits and throws stuff but has nvr hit a staff before.

@emileemoreland, That's how I feel. I would rather them kno so if I refuse something I have a good reason instead of other staff thinking I'm being lazy and not want to do it

@emileemoreland, That's the thing I'm close to some of the staff I work with but not with the company but I don't feel like there is a bad thing telling them right away just in case like u said u need any special accommodations

I told mine right away because I was just too excited.

I was almost 5 months but I waited because I wanted to get passed the possibility of miscarriage. However, if you feel like your job will physically harm your baby in any way I would let them know sooner rather than later

I told my unit manager after my ultrasound at 6 weeks. I work in a hospital so I want to be cautious of who to care for.

@rainbow417, I don't have an ultrasound until January. I worry cuz the one individual I care for has MURSA.

@lillyb, yeah I would tell my employer.

@lillyb, MRSA is okay to be around.. just make sure you wear gloves when needed and practice good hand washing.. I would be concerned about clients with C-diff, shingles, or on radiation chemo treatments..my OB mentioned those to me.

@rainbow417, Yes I kno about those lol non of my individuals have those just MURSA and I always wash my hands good and wear gloves
