no its not. all men are different. you can't generalize them.
my boyfriend was wonderful for our first. talking to my belly and feeling her kicks.
even now I'm only 6 weeks with our 2nd and he'll come say hi to the baby even if he/she can't hear it. and when he texts me he says he loves me Aubrie and our little peanut:)

Agreed! My husband has been so wonderful and is going to be a great father. He is so interested in what's going on with the baby. All I read on here is people bashing their significant others. It's not just a "guy thing" to not care, it's that they just don't care and shouldn't be written off.

mine was the same way he loved talking to our baby through my belly and singing to her and played music for her.
