myfirstbaby2016 That's how she conveyed her opinion hun. Your reaction to her opinion and what she said wasnt exactly on the mature side...she was generally concerned about what you were going to do......If you've heard people saying it was bad? why were further answers needed. If I see something that is bad for me and the baby... I wont second guess it. That's just my opinion hun...dont take it in the wrong way. No one wants to see a mother doing something that is potentially harmful to a child Xx

@winterbaby95, we come on here to get help and speak with another girls about our thoughts. So if she can't put her words correctly then it's better not to talk at all. That's all I gotta say bbe

@winterbaby95, yea but giving ur opinion is different from calling someone selfish and staff. That's not advice at all that is so rude cos I just asked for advice that's all I am not going to do it as it seems not good but it's cos girls tolk to me about it. @myfirstbaby2016 She is upset hun...because she witnessed first hand on what it's like to have a baby poo In you etc...Must've been so distressing for her...nevermind for Max. Poo inhalation can make a baby really sick and in some cases the baby dies. She gave you her full opinion and advice. I think babies come when they want hun....I think its also distressing for them to try and rush them out when they clearly arent ready. I know you want to meet your baby hun....but you are almost 40 weeks..you've got this far hun..... waiting another 2 weeks wont seem long....he could come before the 2 weeks anyway :) xx

@suzie80, oh is it yea I heard that hun. Nah I decided to wait 😁. I got my sweep on Thursday it's just a hard job to sit and wait when u got pains and u just so tired now

I heard it does bring on labour... my mum used it with my sister but too early on and she was 2 months premature so it obviously does somthing! my mum has told me from her experience to stay well away though! it was an old wives tale then and my mum said a bad idea x

Fine. I just think it's selfish. Block me if you don't want to hear honest opinions from people with common sense. You are pregnant for a short time compared to the rest of their lives. But hey if you wanna risk yourself and your babies heath because 'you cant wait' then go right ahead. I guess it will only affect you.

I don't understand why anyone would put their body & more importantly their baby through that to be honest. Max poo'd inside and it wasn't a pleasant experience to be induced to get him out quickly because he was distressed.

Please don't. The last thing I need is the runs and stomach cramps and it can cause fetal distress

midwife say to you things you can help to bring labour once you are so far gone. there are herbal teas you can try which is a more natural way if you can you can try intercourse bouncing on ball things like that which don't pose a threat to you or baby I think with castor oil if you take to much that's when it becomes more of a risk I only had 1/2 table spoons but I don't think I'd do again x

@myfirstbaby2016 I personally wouldnt drink that stuff hun. It is really dangerous. Especially if baby poos in you...they can inhale the poo and have a lot of problems:) He will come hun:) no point rushing him before he is ready xx

@mummagordon, yea I keep hearing good and bad. I heard baby can do a poo in labour. And it's just so hard waiting for him to come lol we all ready apart from my little boy he got way to comfortable in there haha x

@myfirstbaby2016, hey babes I tried that with my eldest boy it clears you out and as your muscles work to empty bowels it can bring on contractions I found it kinda worked with me I was get contractions during the day could have been brixton hicks then that everning I felt this werid pop inside my belly stood up and gush my waters came leaking out loooool
