yes this is what hettie did. she woke up by habit but wasnt hungry just wanted to go back to sleep. she did it for 3 nights then started sleeping through. shes slept through for 6 weeks now except for not last night but the night before she woke but had only 1oz then back off. back to normal last night @hawkie75 x

it could be. my little boy stopped night feeds at about 8 weeks but i used to dream feed him at about 11pm(before i went to bed) until about 12 weeks and stopped doing it because he started to drink less and less, one night i tried to go without it and it worked!! he slept 12 hours and does most nights still at almost 10 months old😁 could be that she's starting to get enough throughout the day and doesn't need it at night. you'll know when just follow her lead x

@tg123456789, @emmaclark oh brilliant!!! All these things I have forgotten from when my son was a baby, you forget, he's 13 lol! Thanks ladies, so best to just follow her lead, she was still waking but I wonder if I just put her dummy back in and stroked her head like I do to soothe her she would ha e just gone back off lol xxxx

@hawkie75, that's what i do too! even if he ever wakes through the night now i just comfort him with his dummy and he goes back to sleep haven't done a night feed since around the 12 week mark😂 if you think she is just waking through habit i would definitely just try to get her back to sleep, if she wakes again or doesn't settle then i would try giving her the bottle. but see how she goes without first xxxx

Max did the same. He would barely take an oz then be falling back to sleep. So after a handful of nights I decided I'd see if he goes back without offering a bottle. I'd give him his dummy & he went back off to sleep. Then eventually he stopped waking at that time & slept through.

@emmaclark, @sara-lou thanks I'll see how she goes over next few nights as she's still 7 weeks, is this a bit early for her to sleep through or not? I'll follow her lead, no point getting up to feed if she's guna fall asleep on the bottle straight away lol! Aw bless her! Thanks ladies xxx

Morgan stopped night feeds at 6weeks & Max was roughly 7/8weeks. I guess it depends on the baby.
