What pain meds can i take to get me through tonight until I can get my prescriptions in the morning?…

I took ibuprofen when I got home after my csection. I actually didn't take the prescribed pills after I left the hospital.

@canaryv, I did the same thing. Whenever the took the pain killers I felt like I was on drugs and not very helpful to my new baby

how many ibuprofen did you take? and how often? @canaryv @tiredallyear

@tiredallyear, yeah I was constantly falling asleep in the hospital so I was so afraid to take them at home

I took 4. every 12 hours at least.

I was taking mine every 6 hours in the hospital. one motrin and one tramadol. @tiredallyear

if it says you can take it every 6 to 8 hours though then do that. I barely moved after my csection and I found it helped if when i walked I walked bent forward and holding my stomach I also wore my maternity pants for a few weeks after for belly support

when I take tramadol it makes me crazy tired. if you do the ibuprofen it wont give you the groggy feeling.

I was told to try to stand straight up. It will hurt but it stretches the muscles and rebuilds them the right way. I'm still wearing maternity clothes for sure. @tiredallyear

I took 800mg of it every 12 hours but I really only took it maybe once a day since I usually don't take medicine. I was given narco after my csection and it knocked me out! I made myself walk once I got home and it's been almost a month and I feel completely normal again

I normally don't take medicine either unless I really have to. when it's to the point where I can't walk or even move my body in any way without breaking up in tears, it's time for meds. that's what happened last night. I also have a 16 month old running around so I have to stay kind of mobile for him. @canaryv

Yeah I totally understand, definitely take care of yourself so you can still function :) I relied solely on my husband the first week and a half my son was born since I could hardly move

that's why we have them right? to help with the kids they knock us up with lol I am lucky that I love my in laws for this very reason. they have been so helpful with Delos while I can't move fast and everything. @canaryv

Exactly!lol and my hubby thinks we're gonna have SIX kids, yeah right 😂 I like my in laws but we don't go over too often so it's just me and Luca most days from 2-11pm 😐

I mean live with my in laws haha my phone had a mind of its own. oh wow I'm used to late shifts like that too. @canaryv

I'm used to it on my own but it gets lonely with the baby ☹️️ I usually try to go to my dads or aunts in the evening until hubby gets out

tell me about it. I love spending time with my mil in the evenings. I would lose my mind otherwise I swear. @canaryv
