Beaver Apparently Trashes Holiday Decorations Aisle After Going Into Dollar Store in Maryland

A beaver was "apprehended" after leaving a trail of "property damage" while appearing to look through Christmas decorations at a dollar store in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Sheriff's Cpl. Yingling responded to an "interesting" call Monday when the suspect -- identified only as a beaver -- allegedly caused some property damage to the store, according to a tongue-in-cheek post on the office's Facebook page.
