yes that's safe. but it might take some work.

You should slowly make a transition, do like one ounce formula and then however much you give your baby and work your way to eventually all formula

You don't have to talk to her doctor, but next time you do have a check up just let them know you switched over!

@kcamps, have you switched your baby before? I'm not even sure which formula I should buy cus I've never even considered it before

Yes I did when my son was about 7 months, I started out only nursing but I had a hard time keeping up my supply so I supplemented (half breastmilk half formula) I had to completely stop because I had to get on medication. Start out with Enfamil, and see how baby reacts. It's kind of a trial and error with trying out formulas, it all depends on what your little babe thinks tastes best!
