I had my gall bladder removed when my son was 6 weeks and the attacks were hands down worse than any contraction I had lol.. but after the surgery it was hard to take care of my lil one.. my mom had to take care of me and him
no they sent me home after about 7 hrs. the only reason they kept me that long is because u was so young and in so much pain they had to keep giving me meds and I had an enlarged liver (for some reason hasn't been an issue ever again). I think if something goes wrong they will keep you. my sister and mom have had it removed also they didn't keep them either
I've had my gallbladder removed it is so painful to even breathe after the surgery but on the good side you heal and don't have to deal with that pain anymore. had mine taken out when I was 15
Yesss! very painful. I feel like I'm dying when I have attacks lol..I found out I had them around 15 weeks..I thought it was gas or something too until I went to the er..I had 3 attacks early in my pregnancy, then they just stopped..but then I just had 2 attacks this past week so I went back to the er the other night & they suggested I have it removed asap 😩. So I'm having surgery within the next 2 weeks.
they are so painful when the attacks happen! 😣 omg i thought it was gas at first... the first one i kept researching and was like maybe ots gallbladder attack but then i didnt want to be wrong and make my husband take me to the er over gas.... embarrassing 😣 then it happened again and my boss said oh noooo that isnt gas! gas does not cause that much pain its your gallbladder... went to the doc they did an ultrasound... sure enough gallstones! @simply_unsimple mine arent obstructive yet so theyll probably wait til after the baby is born before surgery
