My little one started trying to repeat at a really young age, before he had turned 1. You can have a full blown conversation with him now and he turned 2 in August x

My son turned 2 in October he just babbled before saying the odd word I thought he was slow and started to worry as he's learning two languages but since he's hit two he generally don't shut up repeating everything has conversations, in both languages . Believe me they're clever these babies they store it all and will just blurt it all out don't panic too much xx

thanks @jod1303, I was just a bit worried because it seems like he wants to say certain words but then he doesn't, I tried everything still no luck, hopefully he just wakes up one day and starts having a conversation with me lol x

Honestly don't worry. It's common for boys to start talking late. Don't bother with speech therapists etc. If you see that when he wants to he speaks/sings nursery rhymes etc its just boys being lazy and stubborn usually. Also I remember baby sign really helping with my little sister. Never tried it with my little brother though. Every boy I've seen has been a slow talker. I'm getting mentally prepared for my one to be too so I don't get too upset lol.
