Has any other mommas had problems with their vision during pregnancy? mine have gotten worse finally…

Mine did. I went to go see an eye doctor and they told me it's normal with pregnancy to start to experience vision changes and that it'll go back to normal after you give birth. I also checked with my doctor and they ran blood tests for pre eclampsia which came back negative.

I'm also a type one diabetic too @christimary0 but I'll get my doc to check that for me too would it effect me at only 21&6 weeks pregnant?

I did & had to get new glasses. He told me also that my eyes may go back to normal after I have the babies. So I just kept my original glasses.

@peanutsmomma2b, I believe pre-eclampsia can effect you whenever. But I'm no doctor and definitely no expert in pre-eclampsia. I know that vision changes, headaches, swelling, and high blood pressure are all symptoms. I just had vision changes and headaches. My doctor tested my blood just in case. Yours may not even feel the need to test you without all the other symptoms.

My eyesight gets awful during pregnancy and then returns to normal. I did get a 2nd prescription for contacts to use during pregnancy and then I go back to my normal glasses after having the baby. My doctor wasn't concerned because I didn't have any symptoms for preeclampsia and I didn't fail my gestational diabetes test 😊

oh ya...my eyes are bad normally.. but since i been pregnant i have to wear my glasses to watch tv too now😑This emoji is of me squinting my eyes.lol
