@exoticyuri, I didn't have the blood test. I had an ultrasound but all they do is draw blood like normal for it. It's a panel test that tests for abnormalities as well as the gender as a bonus. It's really expensive though if not covered. If your high risk they may do it but idk if they'll just do it because.

I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks that told me the gender of my son! Blood test is like 99% accurate.
