OPINIONS PLEASE:
So as most of you read I've been having positive tests at home but negative urine test at the doctors office accompanied by a very rude nurse.
Well, she called me 3 times this morning and left a voice mail asking if we could schedule another pregnancy test. (Very suspicious after she just lectured me on not coming back for another 10 days. Maybe she knows their test was wrong?)
When I asked if we could schedule a blood test she said NO! "If you're pregnant you're pregnant. We test the blood and the urine the same way."
Has anyone else heard of this before? I haven't and I have many friends and family in healthcare. Regardless, I set up the appointment but am I in the wrong for wanting a blood test to be done?

I thought (I am in no way a medical professional but still) if you get some positive some negative they do a blood test to be sure ? Sounds like she's just a bitch

yes that nurse is just being rude . if she kept messing with me i would of got her fired . 😂😂😂😂.

Wow. I would ask to speak to a supervisor and no longer communicate with her. If you want the blood test you should be able to ask for it. Although they may have different regulations. Still it seems how she's speaking with you is very unprofessional. Id get a second opinion.

@dalehe86, @carlitojrmami @bria She is extremely rude. Wouldn't even let me speak at the last appointment. It's not like I'm asking for an ultrasound, I'm asking for one blood test. If my urine test is negative I will be going elsewhere. There's a reason I'm getting positives at home and I want to know why, not just be told no./: And I have no backbone so I have a hard time standing up for myself.

I do too a lot of times. But if you're the one paying for it why should they tell you no. It shouldn't be up to them.

I understand but you have to speak up girlie. Don't let her be fucking nasty because she's some miserable ass woman. Lol. Ask to speak straight to the doctor. Or go somewhere else but report her to the dept of health

@mrs.n2014 That's my whole thing! How can I be getting positives at home (especially on digitals that require higher hcg levels) and not in a clinic? Makes no sense to me.
