When u have to pay ur in-laws £500 every month and u nearly cry each time just thinking that money…

@apunini, nope that's just to have a roof over our heads. We pay about £30 a week for food on top of that 😒. Annoyed beyond belief but nothing we can do until baby is here n I get back to work 😥 xx

Not being funny but if you had your own place you'd be paying a lot more than that. Unless on benefits & getting help. Our rent alone is double that lol

@sara-lou, rents are so expensive nowadays! its ridicolous.. we also pay for a 2 bed the double of that😣

@sara-lou, yeah true and that's the reason why we had to move in with them. But it's still painful to see that money go when the only bills they have to pay is council tax,gas,electric n water. Although majority of it probably goes on fags as they both smoke and my mother in law refuses to go to work 😒 x

We had to live with my folks when we had Morgan because my husband had been made redundant. Was hard paying rent plus trying to save to move out. It's hard but you'll appreciate & love it even more when you get your own place. It'll be worth it in the end.

@littleelf85, yeah iys what I get too,although luckily my oh covers most of it but I'm still left with about £30 to live off😔. We going to move as soon as I get a job,just waiting for baby to arrive. Tbh they pretty cushy with is staying here as otherwise my mother in-law would have to go out n get a job n she's not very keen on doing that

We don't mind paying them rent but when we having a baby n trying to save ourselves so we can move out,,£500 seems excessive especially when they have hardly any bills x

@mother_of_humans, another reason why we moving up north in a few months. Yeah it's pretty bad but unfortunately we can't do anything until I can go back to work. Although they told us that once baby is here the rent might have have to go up 😒,obviously baby will put their non existent bills ridiculously high 😤

our rent is £98 a week for a 2 bed house and were not on benefits or get any help whatsoever so you can easily live cheaper than that in your own place!

@sophie94x, unfortunately not in Surrey hun. We were paying £1200 on a 1 bed flat including bills.

@mother_of_humans, nope but they won't be getting anymore money once she's here either,that much I'm sure! My mother in law charged her daughter over £300 a month to look after her own grandson and all she did was sit indoors with him smoking while he watched tv,once a week took him to softplay but only if it was walking distance as she refused to go too far with him 😐. Thank god my oh is nothing like them x
