So tonight is the first night i put my four month old in her crib in her nursery. Five minutes so far and I'm already having separation anxiety but I do have a monitor close by and have a night lamp on for her. I have a dog and two cats so I have a baby gate up in her doorway but I know the cats can jump over it, should I close her door? Or keep it open? I read online to keep it closed incase of fires and its more quiet for her and then to keep it open for air flow and u can hear them more?! What to do?!

I personally always closed the door becasue I didnt want the cats going in her crib with her as a safety concern, also our house has no sound proofing and the door being closed at least helps.

We have our sons door shut but that's because our female cat likes to sleep in his crib she hasn't

It's ok try to get her used to noise it will be your saving grace I vacuum while my son sleeps and unless it's a loud noise he won't wake up which is nice
