Can anyone who's had the 3 hour sugar test tell me more about it I've got to take it next week

U have to fast u take the drink n they draw blood then every hour after they draw blood for 3 hours

So I only drink the drink 1 time?

Mine asked me to fast...so absolutely nothing...not even water...when you get there they will draw your blood. Then they will give you your glucose drink "glucola" lol...and then they will draw your blood every hour for 3 hours.....I was so out of it tho my body doesnt do well while pregnant and fasting......so I was sooo close to passing out...just make sure that the day before you go to take it, you stay hydrated really well and eat up while you can!!! Bcuz I was told no eating or even drinking water for 12 hours before taking the test. It was uncomfortable for me..bcuz obviously they stick you in the same spots more than once. So my arm was a little sore for a while.

And yes you only drink that drink one time. After the first blood draw!!! 💖💕💖💕💖

I had mine yesterday. first they take a fasting sugar then they have you drink the glucose drink then they take your sugar every hour. for three hours. good luck momma

It's a breeze. Just bring something to keep you busy like a book or tablet. You'll fast (the worst part), they'll take your blood initially, you'll drink the drink, and then they'll take your blood 3 more times after each hour.
